Air Burkina

Air Burkina is Burkina Faso's airline brand, headquartered in the capital Ouagadougou. It has historically provided scheduled regional passenger services linking Burkina Faso with other West African destinations. Its customer base includes business travelers, government and international-organization personnel, visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic, and tourists. Because reliable recent official information is unavailable here, this entry does not make further claims about its current route network, fleet size, ownership structure, or operating condition.

Air Burkina was established in the 1960s and developed alongside Burkina Faso's civil-aviation system and the demand for regional air transport in West Africa. Based at Ouagadougou, it has primarily served scheduled passenger routes between Burkina Faso and cities in the wider West African region. The company has been affected by broader developments in the regional aviation market, including airline restructuring, privatization arrangements, stronger competition, and changes in the security and operating environment. Reliable official archival and recent operational information is not available here, so a detailed timeline of ownership changes, route expansion, fleet renewal, or service suspensions and resumptions is not provided.
