Amedis

Amedis (also known as Amedis-UE AG) was a Swiss pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Switzerland. It operated in the healthcare logistics sector, supplying medicines and health products primarily to pharmacies and drugstores. On 1 January 2025, Amedis-UE AG merged with Voigt AG to form Avosano AG, a new entity headquartered in Romanshorn. The merged company, Avosano AG, employs around 700 people and has branch offices in Niederbipp and Puidoux (VD). The Amedis brand is no longer active as a separate entity following the merger.
