American Mattress is a mattress retailer that helps customers find mattresses, sleep accessories and furniture. It was founded in 1988 by two co-workers from a local family-owned mattress company, and today remains a locally-owned business with a culture of family and community. American Mattress was founded in 1988. Over the past 30 years the sleep industry has changed, but the American Mattress brand has remained a symbol for unmatched customer service and high-quality product offerings. Today, American Mattress remains a locally-owned business with a strong culture of family and community, operating locations in the Chicagoland area, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.
