ASICS TRADING

ASICS TRADING Co., Ltd. is a member of the ASICS Group that manufactures and sells shoes. It provides footwear for a wide range of ages and various occasions to domestic and overseas markets, aiming to offer valuable products with a value proposition in the shoe market. The company was established in January 1955 as Hiroyoshi Trading Co., Ltd. and changed its name to ASICS TRADING Co., Ltd. in September 1987. It became a consolidated subsidiary of ASICS Corporation in September 2007 and a wholly owned subsidiary in March 2014. In January 2024, it received a business transfer of the walking business from ASICS Corporation and ASICS Japan Corporation.

ASICS TRADING was established in January 1955 as Hiroyoshi Trading Co., Ltd. with capital of 1.25 million yen, starting as a materials trading company supplying materials to shoe manufacturers in Kobe, including Onitsuka Co., Ltd. (now ASICS Corporation). In May 1977, it began wholesale of shoe products (general shoes). In February 1983, it received capital participation from ASICS Corporation. In May 1984, it began manufacturing and selling junior sports shoes 'ASICS TIGON', gaining a manufacturer aspect in addition to being a trading company. In September 1987, it changed its trade name from Hiroyoshi Trading Co., Ltd. to ASICS TRADING Co., Ltd. In September 2007, it became a consolidated subsidiary of ASICS Corporation. In April 2008, it made Nippon Slipper Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary. In March 2014, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of ASICS Corporation. In January 2024, it received a business transfer of the walking business from ASICS Corporation and ASICS Japan Corporation, strengthening its integrated planning, production, and sales system.
