Avenues Television

Avenues Television, also branded on air and online as AV News (एभिन्यूज), is a Nepali news-oriented television channel and digital news outlet. Its website, avenues.tv, presents itself as a Nepali-language news destination, carrying national political coverage, provincial reporting, business and corporate news, and international stories. The site organizes content by sections such as main news, trending items, and provincial desks covering Karnali, Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces, alongside programme strands including 'Duniya ko Khabar', 'Deshma Aaja', and 'Business'. The channel's editorial identity is built around hard news and current affairs: the homepage evidence shows coverage of government policy, dam safety questions, foreign visits by political leaders, party conventions, and international diplomacy. A dedicated 'Corporate and Business' category carries reporting on labour migration, employment, and the changing Nepali media landscape shaped by social media. Avenues Television is recognized as a Nepali news-primary television channel; the Wikipedia entry in the Maithili language describes it simply as 'a Nepali news-primary television channel'. Wikidata classifies the entity as a TV channel. The brand operates both a broadcast channel and a news website, and its content is published primarily in Nepali. Because public evidence about the channel's ownership, founding date, and corporate structure is limited in the supplied sources, this dossier records only what is verifiable: its identity as a Nepali news channel and news portal, its Nepali-language editorial focus, and its online presence at avenues.tv. Further corporate details such as parent company, founders, and launch year should be confirmed from primary sources before being added.

Avenues Television is a Nepali news-focused television channel that also operates a Nepali-language news website at avenues.tv, where it is branded as AV News (एभिन्यूज). The channel is described in reference sources as a Nepali news-primary television channel, and Wikidata records it as a TV channel. The available evidence does not specify the channel's founding date, founders, ownership structure, or launch history. What can be established is its editorial character and output. Its website carries national political news, provincial reporting from all seven provinces, business and corporate coverage, and international stories. Programme strands visible on the site include 'Duniya ko Khabar' (world news), 'Deshma Aaja' (the country today), and 'Business'. Its corporate and business section has covered topics such as labour migration from Nepal, the challenge of creating domestic employment for young people entering the labour market, and the transformation of the Nepali communication landscape by social media. This suggests a newsroom oriented toward current affairs, economics, and public policy alongside general news. As a Nepali-language broadcaster and publisher, Avenues Television serves audiences inside Nepal and the Nepali-speaking diaspora online. Its dual presence as a television channel and a news portal places it within Nepal's private news-media sector, which has expanded significantly since the 1990s. Specific corporate milestones, ownership changes, and programming launches are not documented in the supplied evidence and should be verified from primary sources before being recorded.
