Bad Birdie is a golf apparel brand that started as a side hustle in founder Jason Richardson's apartment, driven by the idea that golf apparel was boring. The brand offers men's, women's, and youth apparel including golf polos, quarterzips and hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and vests, shorts, pants, skorts, dresses, sweatshirts, and accessories such as hats, socks, golf gloves, headcovers, and golf towels. Bad Birdie started as a side hustle in founder Jason Richardson's apartment with the thought that golf apparel was boring. Richardson's first job at age 12 was caddying at a stuffy country club where the dress code was traditional, overly proper, dull, and lacking personality. His love for the game grew, but he felt golf apparel was still stuck in the past. He set out to make polos he and his friends actually wanted to wear—something bold, different, and anything but boring. What began small grew into a movement; golfers joined in, and the brand moved beyond a side hustle into pro shops, major retailers, and even pitching on Shark Tank. From there, Bad Birdie opened stores, signed pros, partnered with schools, and built a community of golfers who value the game and a good time over stuffy tradition.
