Overview

BeeInventor is an IoT technology company focused on the construction and industrial sectors, best known for its DasLoop smart helmet and a wider family of connected safety devices. The company was founded in Hong Kong in 2017 by a group of engineers who set out to address safety and efficiency problems on construction sites through connected hardware and cloud software. Its stated core philosophy is "Combining technology and innovation to build a smarter future," and its vision is to disrupt the traditional construction industry by integrating IoT devices with an online smart management platform that helps users improve efficiency, manage operations, and protect worker safety. BeeInventor's product line began with the DasLoop smart helmet, whose first prototype was completed in 2017 and which entered field testing at a Gammon construction site in 2018. Over time the company moved from single-device innovation to a broader smart-site platform. Its portfolio has grown to include DasTrack, DasPower, DasGas, DasCAS, DasLoop Video, and the DasIoT cloud platform, alongside AI recognition capabilities and heat-stroke prevention systems such as DasSenseH. These products are marketed as smart IoT safety solutions for construction workers, with a strong emphasis on the health and safety of people working outdoors and in industrial environments. The company operates across multiple Asian markets. After establishing its Hong Kong base, it opened a Taipei office in 2021, a Fukuoka office in 2022, and a Singapore office in 2024. It has collaborated with research institutions such as The University of Tokyo on a smart concrete sensor, and it has worked with contractors and public bodies including Gammon and the Hong Kong government. BeeInventor reached US$1 million in revenue in December 2020 and has since reported deployments such as more than 1,600 smart helmets on a single residential project in September 2024, which it describes as the largest implementation of smart helmets in the world. BeeInventor positions itself as a leader in smart construction site technology. Its recent activity has centered on heat-stroke prevention for outdoor workers, AI-based inspection such as rebar checking, and recognition from Japanese institutions. In 2026 it was certified as a METI DX Certified Business Operator by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and it has run heat-stroke prevention proofs of concept at Fukuoka construction sites. The company also pursues corporate social responsibility through safety technology education initiatives with schools and heat-stroke prevention research aimed at improving workplace safety and public health.

History

BeeInventor was established in Hong Kong in February 2017 by a group of engineers passionate about technology who wanted to solve safety and efficiency challenges in the construction and industrial sectors. The company's first product, the DasLoop smart helmet, reached prototype stage in August 2017, allowing BeeInventor to enter the market and gather initial feedback. In January 2018 the company conducted its first on-site testing at a Gammon construction site, followed in March 2019 by a first field trial at a Hong Kong government work site. Production of the G1 generation began in April 2019, and the G2 generation entered production in February 2020. The company broadened its portfolio through 2020 and 2021. It launched DasTrack in July 2020 and was listed on the Hong Kong Government CITF Pre-Approved List in September 2020. In December 2020 BeeInventor achieved US$1 million in revenue. It established a Taipei office in January 2021 and launched the G2S and DasPower products in July 2021. In June 2022 the company opened a Fukuoka office and launched its new cloud platform, DasIoT. The following month it began collaborating with The University of Tokyo on a smart concrete sensor. Product expansion continued with the launch of DasGas in September 2023 and DasCAS in November 2023. In April 2024 BeeInventor launched DasLoop Video, and in May 2024 it integrated an AI recognition system. The company established a Singapore office in July 2024. In September 2024 it deployed more than 1,600 smart helmets in a single residential project, which it describes as the largest implementation of smart helmets in the world. In 2025 and 2026 BeeInventor's public activity focused on heat-stroke prevention and AI-based inspection, alongside recognition in Japan and Hong Kong. It was selected for a JETRO subsidy with a heat stroke pre-alert system for construction and manufacturing in July 2025, was selected as one of 12 startups receiving priority support from Fukuoka, and partnered with Yamasaki Corporation through an accelerator program. In October 2025 it won the MTR Corporation "Work Improvement Team (WIT)" Innovative Project Award Summary Creative Grand Prize. In December 2025 BeeInventor and DataLabs JP launched the first proof of concept of AI rebar checking at a Hong Kong CEDD site. In July 2026 its heat stroke detection sensor was deployed at a Fukuoka construction site and covered by RKB, KBC, and FBS news, and the DasSenseH AI Heat Stroke Prevention System proof of concept was launched there. In August 2026 BeeInventor was certified as a METI DX Certified Business Operator by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
