Bentheimer Eisenbahn

Bentheimer Eisenbahn AG is a railway company in Germany. Under its umbrella, several subsidiaries offer services in passenger transport (bus and rail), rail freight, railway infrastructure, freight forwarding and logistics, container handling, parking management, workshops, and the travel market. With over 400 employees, it is the largest provider of local public passenger transport in the district of Grafschaft Bentheim, with a network of about 1,280 km. It operates the RB 56 (Regiopa Express) on behalf of LNVG on the Bad Bentheim–Neuenhaus route, and also operates rail freight between Bad Bentheim and Coevorden (NL) and its own workshop for rail vehicles. BE Netz GmbH is responsible for the rail infrastructure. Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH Nordhorn operates city and scheduled bus services including school transport on behalf of the district, and also offers bus trips to various destinations in Germany and Europe. Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH offers freight forwarding and logistics services.
