Bolder Games

Bolder Games is an immersive media design studio that creates custom interactive experiences, games, applications, and software tools. Much of its work is found in location-based entertainment experiences throughout the U.S. and China. The studio was founded in 2009 as a passion project to create indie games, and has since collaborated with companies like Disney and Lionsgate on global attractions.

Bolder Games was founded in 2009 as a passion project to create indie games. After collaborating with Apple and major themed entertainment companies to create some of the first iPad games, Bolder began interactive development of experiences and activations for the themed entertainment industry. The team has grown substantially and has developed multiple projects with the U.S. government, including gamified disaster simulators for DARPA and wargaming simulations for the Marines. Bolder continues to partner heavily with Disney Imagineering R&D and has released dozens of attractions in their parks, including experiences in the Shanghai Enchanted Storybook Castle, Galaxy's Edge, and the Galactic Starcruiser. The development team also creates indie games for fun and inspiration, including the latest release: Virballs.
