Bond Electronic Exchange

The Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) is a Thai securities exchange specialising in bonds. It was established in 2005 as a subsidiary of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). BEX operates the Fixed Income and Related Securities Trading System (Firsts), an electronic trading platform (ETP) designed for institutional and wholesale investors. Firsts serves as the country's central electronic trading platform for bonds, providing trading, settlement and clearing services, transparent disclosure, and efficient communication channels. A key objective of Firsts is to deliver real-time trading information to market participants, enabling more efficient investment decisions and more convenient, faster and more transparent bond trading. BEX is part of the SET group and contributes to the development of Thailand's fixed-income market infrastructure.

The Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) was initiated by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 2004 to develop an electronic trading platform (ETP) for institutional and wholesale investors, known as the Fixed Income and Related Securities Trading System (Firsts). BEX was founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of the SET. As the country's central ETP, Firsts was intended to be an efficient centre for bond trading, offering a trading system, settlement and clearing services, transparent disclosure, and efficient communication channels. Above all, Firsts was designed to provide market participants with real-time trading information, enabling more efficient investment decisions and more convenient, faster and more transparent bond trading.
