BRAWA

BRAWA is the brand of BRAWA Artur Braun Modellspielwarenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, a German model railway manufacturer headquartered in Remshalden. Its official website presents model railway products and accessories in gauges including 0, O, H0, HO, TT, N and Z, along with an online shop and regular new-product announcements. Gunther Eheim the Europa Elektrozug for H0 and the Trolley-Bus with its complete electrical overhead line system were created; the Trolley-Bus was produced until the end of 2000. The product range grew steadily to include Anker stone building blocks, terrain pieces, trees, traffic signs, rails, dolls, teddy bears and a chain carousel, and Artur Braun exhibited for the first time at the Nuremberg toy fair. Artur Braun produced a first H0 cable car, a replica of the Oberstdorf Nebelhornbahn, which developed into a programme speciality of the house. The company also expanded production of scale-appropriate accessories such as signals, lights and insulated wires and cables. Artur Braun in Waiblingen became BRAWA: a new company emerged, and the patented trademark was intended to protect products from southern Germany worldwide, standing for 'Modelle mit Liebe zum Detail'.
