Camlog is a supplier of premium dental implant systems, restorative components, regenerative and digital solutions. CAMLOG Biotechnologies GmbH is based in Basel, Switzerland, and production of all Camlog products is carried out exclusively by ALTATEC GmbH in Wimsheim. Own subsidiaries distribute Camlog products in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, while Switzerland is served by a local Swiss sales team. Under the umbrella of the Global Dental Surgical Group, a division of Henry Schein, Inc, Camlog has been working closely with BioHorizons, Inc. in various areas since 2016, forming BioHorizons Camlog together. Camlog is distributed in more than 90 countries worldwide.

Since the market launch of the CAMLOG Implant System in September 1999, the Camlog Group has achieved a significant market position in Germany in just a few years. In brand alliance, BioHorizons Camlog has become one of the globally leading suppliers in implant dentistry. In 2024, the Camlog anniversary congress on September 13 and 14, 2024 attracted over 800 participants to Motorworld Metzingen; Dr. Axel Kirsch, developer of the CAMLOG implant system, and long-time Camlog CEO and co-founder Michael Ludwig also came to congratulate the company. Also in 2024, ALTATEC GmbH officially inaugurated its extension building at the Wimsheim site. Since October 2022, the human bone substitute material MinerOss A has been added to the biomaterials portfolio. In 2020, NovoMatrix Reconstructive Tissue Matrix, an acellular dermal matrix, was introduced. In July 2025, the new staff restaurant MaMa's Kitchen opened its doors.
