The island's inhabitants are exotic animals, and it was home to a thrill-seeking, adventure-loving turtle named Gordon (Gordy). Gordy was restless and felt trapped on the island. The animals held a meeting and organized a boat-building party, salvaging old ship pieces to craft a vessel for Gordy, which they called "HOPE."
