Overview
Castle Air is a UK-based provider of helicopter services, including engineering, training, charter, sales and leasing, and parts sourcing. It operates from five locations across the UK and serves clients across the UK and Europe.
History
Castle Air was formed in 1979 by Royal Navy pilots Jerry Grayson and Keith Thompson, along with Roy Flood, starting a helicopter charter business in Cornwall. The company later purchased its first Jet Ranger and opened a commercial operation from Liskeard, Cornwall. In 1982, Castle Air imported the first AW109A into the UK for VIP charter use.
