Yongmei rating violation leads to three-month suspension of debt financing instrument business
In December 2020, the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII) issued a warning to China Chengxin International, suspended its debt financing instrument-related business for 3 months, and ordered rectification after it was suspected of violating self-regulatory rules in ratings related to Yongcheng Coal & Electricity Holding Group (Yongmei). The year of the incident is the year the disciplinary decision was announced, not 2021.
