City Concorde

City Concorde is a major enclosed shopping centre located on the Route de Longwy in Gelfent, in the commune of Bertrange, Luxembourg. It is one of the largest shopping centres in the country. The centre opened in 1974 and has been expanded several times, reaching a total surface area of 45,000 m² before the most recent expansion between 2016 and 2018 added a further 5,000 m² of retail space, bringing the total to 50,000 m². That expansion also accentuated the main entrances with a two-storey glass façade and added a two-level underground car park. The centre houses more than 100 shops and restaurants spread across the basement, ground floor and first floor. The second floor is home to a fitness centre and a bar-restaurant. Its main tenants include the fashion store Bram and the hypermarket Cora. The shopping centre is owned by the Luxembourg-based management company Concorde Bram. City Concorde positions itself not merely as a shopping centre but as a "Lifestyle Center" — a genuine place to live that offers unique experiences, quality brands and exclusive major labels. Its retail mix spans food and beverages, beauty and jewellery, shoes and leather goods, home décor and household goods, fashion, kids, parapharmacy, services, sports and leisure, and technology and optics. The centre also provides a range of practical services including a reception, lost and found, lockers, gift vouchers, taxi service, wheelchairs, strollers, charging points, toilets, baby corner, parking, defibrillator and lifts.
