Cobelfret is a dry bulk shipping provider with over 90 years of global logistics and trading experience. The Cobelfret companies operate a modern, fuel-efficient fleet of owned, long term and short term chartered tonnage, with a combined fleet of more than 100 vessels from handysize up to capesize bulk carriers, and offices around the world. They serve customers globally in industries including agriculture & fertilizer, energy, construction, mining, and manufacturing.

The company traces its origins to 1929 when Dieschburg & Cigrang, later renamed as Cigrang Frères, was established as a commodity trading company in Antwerp. In 1939, the shipping company Compagnie Belge d'Affrètements (with cable address: COBELFRET) was founded. In 1952, the acquisition of m/s Clervaux marked the first owned vessel.
