History
Cogiscan was founded in Canada in 1999 with a vision for the factory of the future, aiming to use information technology to seamlessly integrate machines, materials, people, and software systems. The company launched its first product, MSD Control, and secured its first paying customer, BAE Systems. It later installed MSD Control for Raytheon, launched new PFC hardware at Delphi Mexico for a double-sided traceability solution, and introduced a line of RFID technology products including RFID Smart Feeders. Cogiscan established partnerships with JUKI Europe, JUKI Japan, JUKI US, Fuji Japan, Universal Instruments, ITW, iTAC, SAKI, ASM, and Mycronic. It expanded its product offering to launch the Track, Trace & Control (TTC) portfolio, released the Factory Intelligence Application, and launched the Co-NECT Platform. The company installed its first end-to-end factory-wide traceability solution at Semecs, its first project in China at a Samsung factory, its first project in South America at Newsan in Argentina, and its largest factory-wide traceability solution at a Tier 1 EMS Supplier in Poland. It also completed a joint project with iTAC for MES integration at Schneider Electric in Bangalore, India, and released remote installation tools during the COVID-19 pandemic.
