History
Zhejiang Changsheng Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd. was founded in June 1995 as Jiashan Changsheng Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd. In 1997, the company successfully developed solid-embedded self-lubricating bearings and officially entered overseas markets. In 2000, it expanded its factory buildings and began supplying self-lubricating bearing products for major water conservancy projects at home and abroad. In 2002, the company expanded its plant area, established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiashan Changsheng Self-Lubricating Material Co., Ltd., to expand material production capacity, and was approved to establish the "Jiashan County Sliding Bearing Material Technology Research and Development Center." In 2003, it passed the Rhine TS/16949 certification and entered the automotive OEM market. In 2005, it was recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Plan and began exporting large metal-based solid lubricating bearings for major water conservancy projects in India. In 2006, its friction welding products entered Caterpillar's global supply chain. In 2008, it established a provincial-level self-lubricating material research and development center and led the establishment of the Self-Lubricating Bearing Sub-Technical Committee of the National Sliding Bearing Standardization Technical Committee, serving as the first secretariat unit. In 2009, it established Zhejiang Changsheng Plastic Bearing Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Changsheng Bearing Technology Co., Ltd., and launched high-performance resin swash plates for air-conditioning compressors. In 2011, the company was restructured into a joint-stock company and was recognized as a "Zhejiang Province Fifth Batch Innovative Demonstration Enterprise," "Zhejiang Province Green Enterprise," and "Zhejiang Province Standard Innovation Enterprise." In 2012, it successfully developed lead-free bimetallic materials and obtained provincial-level innovation team and high-tech enterprise titles. In 2013, it was awarded "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" and other honors, and provided self-lubricating bearings for major projects such as Shanghai Tower and Singapore National Stadium. In 2015, Zhejiang Changsheng Sliding Bearing Technology Research Institute was approved and recognized as a provincial-level enterprise research institute, and the company successfully developed nuclear power-specific self-lubricating bearings. In 2016, the headquarters moved to No. 6 Xinda Road, Jiashan Economic Development Zone, and its products for reactor pressure vessel supports and steam generator supports passed expert appraisal organized by the China Nuclear Energy Association, filling domestic gaps and reaching international advanced levels. In November 2017, the company was successfully listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In 2018, it was recognized as a national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprise. In 2019, it was awarded the title of national green factory. In 2022, it was recognized as a national intellectual property demonstration enterprise. In 2023, it obtained the "Zhejiang Manufacturing" brand certification. In 2024, it continued to expand its research and development efforts. In 2025, it further strengthened its global marketing network. In 2026, it aims to become a world-class tribology and self-lubricating technology research institute.

Regulatory letter over misuse of raised funds; RMB 100 million investment unpaid draws SZSE scrutiny
In July 2019 Changsheng Bearing received a regulatory letter from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for violations in the use of raised funds. In March 2023, the partnership in which it invested RMB 100 million, Chengdu Cen Hongyi, could not repay principal and returns, and its business registration did not match the company's disclosure. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange issued a letter of concern asking about the equity structure, losses and truthfulness of information disclosure. The actual controller paid out of his own pocket to cover the losses. Regulatory letter, letter of concern.
