History
Da Vinci Publishing was founded in 2015 in Osaka, Japan, by Edmondo Filippini. It began as a small-sized reality dedicated to contemporary music, with its first publication dedicated to the acousmatic music by Biagio Putignano. The catalogue soon expanded to large-scale productions, including complete recordings of Bach's keyboard works and Mozart's and Beethoven's keyboard works on period instruments. The Society established partnerships leading to the publication of approximately 150 recordings and 200 scores every year. In 2019, Da Vinci established an agreement with Naxos for inclusion in the Naxos Music Library, and Hal Leonard accepted to distribute the Society's printed music.
