Dalgas

Dalgas is the name adopted by all business units under Hedeselskabet as of 1 October 2024, covering units such as HedeDanmark, HD 2412, HD NordicTrees, HD Silva, HD BioRec, HD Forest, HD Forest Germany, HD Seed and HD LogSystems. As part of Hedeselskabet, Dalgas develops and maintains outdoor areas, forests, open land, sea and urban green spaces, and offers services in forests and trees, landscape and sea, city and outdoor environment, recycling and energy, and ESG, climate and biodiversity. Its forestry work is described as dating back to 1866.

On 1 October 2024, all business units under Hedeselskabet changed their name to Dalgas. This applied to HedeDanmark, HD 2412, HD NordicTrees, HD Silva, HD BioRec, HD Forest, HD Forest Germany, HD Seed and HD LogSystems. As part of Hedeselskabet, Dalgas states it has worked under the treetops since 1866, from seed to sale. In 2023, HedeDanmark was honoured as one of Denmark's Best Managed Companies by Deloitte, with emphasis on its vision, apprentice programme and sustainability focus.
