Dalla Corte

Dalla Corte is an Italian espresso machine manufacturer based in Baranzate (MI), Italy. The company was founded in 2001 by Paolo Dalla Corte together with his father Bruno and his sister Elsa. It produces professional espresso machines and commercial coffee grinders, and states that its professional espresso machines are Made in Italy and assembled by hand. The company describes itself as devoted to espresso coffee and states that for over twenty years its purpose has been to give baristas the power to create their perfect coffee through its professional espresso machines.

In 1947, Bruno Dalla Corte began working as a technician at the Cimbali espresso machine company. In the 1950s he gained the trust of the La Faema group owner and worked on the creation of the E61 espresso machine. In the 1960s he managed a series of autonomous technical support centres and later devised innovative steam circulation technology, at which point the La Spaziale espresso machine was produced at ABA factories in Bologna; Bruno and his son Paolo worked there together for many years. In 2001, Paolo, his father Bruno and his sister Elsa founded a new espresso coffee machine manufacture, Dalla Corte. The company states that its Evolution machine is the only espresso machine in the world using the original multi-boiler technology, which it invented, and that this technology provides a constant temperature precise to one tenth of a degree. The company also describes a "Proof of Taste" period as its challenge to the sector.
