Daze Alive

Daze Alive (데이즈 얼라이브) is a South Korean hip-hop music label founded in February 2012 by rapper Jerry.K. The name is a play on 'days alive,' meaning 'the days we have lived,' and reflects the label's stated aim of making music that captures life. Jerry.K established the label after the dissolution of Soul Company in November 2011, and released his EP 'Love Story (연애담)' through it. For a period the label operated as a one-person label, releasing works such as 'Dominant Gene 2 (우성인자2)' mixtape, the second studio album 'TRUE SELF,' the EP 'Love Story 2 (연애담2),' and various digital singles. In July 2013, at his solo concert 'DAZE A LIVE 1' held at Club DGBD, Jerry.K announced the recruitment of Rico and Sleeq and the beginning of full-scale label activities. In June 2014, Daze Alive signed a contract with Stone Ship, an agency and management company specializing in black music, to pursue broader activities. In November 2014, at the label concert 'DAZE A LIVE 5' held at Didim Hall, the label recruited new member rapper Don Malik. In February 2018, Don Malik was expelled from Daze Alive. In August 2020, Sleeq transitioned Daze Alive into a crew format and moved to another agency. The label's roster has included Jerry.K, Rico, and Sleeq (as crew).
