History
De Zoetermeerse Brouwerij (DZB) was founded by Loek Eerhart and Viresh Bachoe. In 2015 they first came together to brew their first beer in Loek's kitchen. Loek was trained as a chemical technologist and already had knowledge of brewing. After many test batches, tastings and fine-tuning, LVR Breweries was founded in 2016. As a contract brewer they brewed their beer at various breweries in the Netherlands. In recent years the beers were brewed at Brouwerij Jovius in Nieuwegein under the supervision of Vincent Verhaar. With the closure of Brouwerij Jovius in June 2021, Loek and Viresh decided to take the production process entirely into their own hands and founded De Zoetermeerse Brouwerij B.V. In March 2022 the house brand ROEM was launched. The brewery is located on Edisonstraat in Zoetermeer.
