Deafground Records

Deafground Records is described as a concept of the Bielefeld-based NUVINCI GmbH that supports bands and artists of various genres from metal to pop in the distribution and marketing of their music. As a pure service label, Deafground Records is transferred only the distribution rights for the respective release, while all music rights remain with the artists. Through PhonoNet (physical) and finetunes (digital), the label offers artists distribution channels, supports releases with in-house promotion, and handles finalization of the audio master as well as the necessary label, EAN and ISRC codes. The offering is aimed in particular at young or newcomer bands taking first steps toward further professionalization whose profile is not yet sufficient for a contract with a 'classic' music label, and also at all bands that do not want to be contractually bound, want to keep the rights to their music, and want to continue making and spreading music according to a DIY philosophy.
