Deleum Berhad is an investment holding company that, through its subsidiaries, provides a diverse range of supporting specialised products and services to the oil and gas industry, particularly in the exploration and production sector. Its business segments include Power and Machinery, Oilfield Integrated Services, and Integrated Corrosion Solution. The group's participation in the oil and gas industry dates back to 1982, when its wholly-owned subsidiary Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd. (formerly Delcom Services Sdn. Bhd.) was established as a service company in the Malaysian oil and gas industry. Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in November 2005, converted to a public limited company in 2006 and assumed the name Deleum Berhad, and on 1 June 2007 Deleum Berhad was listed on the Main Board (now Main Market) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

The history of Deleum Group's participation in the oil and gas industry dates back to 1982, when its wholly-owned subsidiary Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Delcom Services Sdn. Bhd.) established itself as a service company in the Malaysian oil and gas industry. In November 2005, Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated; subsequently in 2006 it was converted to a public limited company and assumed its present name of Deleum Berhad. On 1 June 2007, Deleum Berhad, an investment holding company, was listed on the Main Board (now Main Market) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Over the years, Deleum Group's business venture progressed from merely agent-principal relationships to joint ventures, partnerships and self-operated operations. Milestones recorded by the company include the 1982 establishment of Delcom Services Sdn Bhd, the 1987 establishment of the provision of gas turbine services and of a joint venture, Malaysian Mud and Chemicals Sdn. Bhd., for bulking services at ASB, Labuan, the 1989 establishment of the provision of slickline services, the 1995 establishment of Cambodia Utilities Pte. Ltd. for independent power production in Cambodia, the 1997 establishment of industrial power generation services with a first project secured, the 2001 acquisition of the remaining 49% equity interest in CMSB from Schlumberger (now known as Deleum Oilfield Services Sdn. Bhd.), the 2003 establishment of the supply of oilfield chemicals services and of a turbine overhaul facility (a dedicated Solar Turbines Integrated Services Centre in Senawang), the 2007 listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, the 2008 acquisition of 51% equity interest of Penaga Dresser Sdn. Bhd. via 80% subsidiary Delcom Holdings Sdn. Bhd., the 2010 establishment of the Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO) segment via acquisition of 100% equity interest in Deleum Rotary Services Sdn. Bhd., the 2012 30th anniversary and corporate rebranding together with acquisition of 60% equity interest in Deleum Technology Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (formerly Deleum Primera Sdn. Bhd.), and the 2015 establishment of a joint venture between Deleum Berhad and Solar Turbines International Company (STICO) via STICO participation in Turboservices Overhaul Sdn. Bhd., along with restructuring of the Integrated Corrosion Solution (ICS) segment (formerly the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) segment).
