Demmelmair

Demmelmair is a transport company in Germany, operating bus services. According to its official website, it is the largest private bus company in the Friedberg area with about 200 employees and almost 90 travel and line buses.

The company was founded on May 17, 1938, as Josef and Maria Demmelmair, Omnibus Reisebüro und Fernverkehr in Augsburg, with 2 trucks for local freight transport. In 1939, it purchased 2 dumpers and a truck for long-distance freight transport. During World War II, vehicles were confiscated and the business was temporarily closed. After the war, operations resumed with rented and purchased vehicles.
