Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP) is a company founded in July 2002. It has provided hardware IP and software IP for GPU technology, as well as SoC integrating such IP, since its founding. In recent years it has provided a range of AI services and products from the edge to the cloud, from algorithms to hardware products such as AI cameras, modules, and 3D vision systems for picking, aimed at AI image recognition in robotics and advanced safety. Its offerings include the Cambrian Vision System for picking, the ZIA MOVE software platform for AMR, and ZIA SAFE / ZIA Cloud SAFE for advanced safety services.

Digital Media Professionals Inc. was founded in July 2002. In July 2005 DMP announced the ULTRAY Visual Processor, followed in July 2006 by the PICA Graphics IP Core. In April 2007 DMP's PICA received the Excellence in IP Prize of the 9th LSI IP Design Award. In April 2009 DMP announced SMAPH-F Vector Graphics IP, and in November 2009 SMAPH-S 3D Graphics IP. In October 2015 it began sale of the LSI product VF2. In August 2016 it announced the M3000 series 3D graphics IP core, and in November 2016 the ZIA image recognition engine using Deep Learning. In March 2018 it began volume production and shipping of the new graphics processor RS1, and in September 2018 launched sales of the AI FPGA module product ZIA C2/C3 Kit. In May 2019 it established a business and capital alliance with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and was certified ISO 9001:2015. In April 2020 it established the overseas subsidiary Digital Media Professionals Vietnam Company Limited. In June 2021 it established a capital alliance with US-based Cambrian Inc. In April 2022 it moved to the Growth Market due to the reorganization of the Tokyo Stock Exchange's market segments. In May 2025 it announced the edge AI SoC Di1.

• Cambrian Vision System

  Picking solution certified by Universal Robots; an add-on to robot arms designed to be robust for any external light conditions and quick to set up.

• ZIA MOVE

  Software platform supporting the autonomous pipeline for AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot); incorporates Visual SLAM ZIA SLAM and enables autonomous movement with camera and its control software by setting the target position.

• ZIA SAFE and ZIA Cloud SAFE

  Advanced safety services using AI recognition technology, combining camera images and AI image recognition technology.

• RS1

  Image processor jointly developed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. and DMP for the entertainment market; integrates a real-time 3D engine and 2D video engine on a single chip and can be used for pachinko, pachislot, and arcade game machines.

• ZIA C3 Kit

  Edge AI starter development kit combining ZIA C3 SoM and a carrier board with interfaces such as USB and Ethernet; implements DMP's AI processor IP ZIA DV720 in Xilinx Zynq MPSoC FPGA.
