Overview

Disway S.A. is a Moroccan technology distribution group headquartered in Casablanca. It is the leading wholesaler of computer hardware and software as well as networking and telecommunications equipment in Morocco. The company was formed in 2010 through the merger of Matel PC Market and Distrisoft, combining two businesses whose roots go back to 1982 and 1991 respectively. Disway is listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange and is a constituent of both the Moroccan All Shares Index (MASI) and the MASI 20 index of the twenty most traded companies. Disway's activity is organized around five product and service areas: computer hardware (PCs, laptops, servers, printers and related equipment), software (operating systems and office software), networking equipment (routers, splitters, wireless adapters and similar products), security products such as antivirus software, and photovoltaic solar systems and accessories. The company operates a B2B e-commerce platform at www.disway.com, launched in 2012 and relaunched in a more modern, ergonomic and intuitive version in 2021, through which it serves resellers and professional customers. The group has several subsidiaries: Disway Tunisie, DLS (Disway Logistic Services), Disway MEA (covering the Middle East and Africa) and Solarway, which specializes in photovoltaic solar solutions. Near Casablanca airport, Disway operates a logistics platform of more than 33,000 m², known as SAPINO, which supports its distribution operations. According to public information, the company supplies approximately 3,500 retailers. Disway's history reflects a series of mergers and stock-market listings. Matel was created in 1982 to address the enterprise telecommunications market, PC Market was founded in 1987, and Distrisoft Maroc S.A. was created in 1991 to import and distribute Microsoft products in Morocco. Distrisoft was listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange in 2006, followed by Matel PC Market in 2007. In 2010 the two merged to form Disway, which became the market leader in the distribution of computer and telecommunications hardware in Morocco. Subsequent milestones include the launch of the SAPINO logistics platform in 2011, the creation of Disway MEA in 2013, the founding of DLS in 2015, and the creation of the Solarway business unit in 2018. Today Disway positions itself as a broad-line technology distributor for the Moroccan and regional markets, combining logistics, e-commerce and value-added services for resellers, integrators and professional end users.
