Dokumentační centrum českého hermetismu

The Dokumentační centrum českého hermetismu (Documentation Centre for Czech Hermeticism) is a volunteer association founded in June 2001 that collects materials on the history, development, and activities of Hermeticism in the Czech lands. It is led by Petr Kalač, a librarian at the Library of the National Museum, who was inspired by figures such as Prof. Milan Nakonečný, Josef Veselý, and Aleš Česal, with shared interests partly pursued through the magazine Svět magie. The centre works to preserve and expand its collection of materials on related subjects such as magic and makes them available to researchers. It has organized or participated in conferences on related themes, including the 2018 conference at the Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University titled 'The Personality of the Priest and Magician in History,' and in 2019 co-organized the exhibition 'Czech Tarot' in Prague. In August 2026, a facility for the centre's activities and events was opened in the Brdy region. The centre maintains an official website at dcch.grimoar.cz.
