Doona

Doona is a company focused on simplifying parenthood. Its product range centers on the Doona Car Seat & Stroller, described as a fully integrated travel system for newborns, and the Liki Trike, a 5-in-1 compact tricycle for toddlers. The brand states that its mission is to develop innovative products and solutions that address unmet needs in day-to-day parenting, without compromising on functionality, safety, and quality. Founder Yoav Mazar recounts that the idea for the Doona Car Seat & Stroller began from his desire to simplify his experience as a new parent, and that the Liki was named after his second daughter, Lihi. Doona states it has won numerous global awards for innovation and design.

Doona's origin story is tied to its founder, Yoav Mazar. According to the company's Our Story page, the idea began with his desire to simplify his experience as a new parent while keeping his newborn daughter Danielle (Doona) safe. He describes struggling with the daily transition between car seat and stroller and setting out from his workshop to transform the infant car seat into something safe yet simple and practical, which led to the Doona Car Seat & Stroller. A few years later, he identified a need for a new and improved trike that came fully assembled, folded quickly and easily, and had a sleek urban design; named after his second daughter, Lihi, the Liki was born. The company states that today its vision is to share its passion with families around the world by revolutionizing products used in the first stages of parenthood.

Doona positions itself as a visionary company committed to simplifying parenthood, offering products that make life on the go easy without compromising on functionality, safety, and quality.
