Doppo Beer

Doppo (独歩) is a craft beer brand of Miyashita Shuzo Co., Ltd., a sake brewer headquartered in Naka-ku, Okayama City. According to the company's official history, the Chugoku region's first craft beer, 'Doppo', was launched in 1995. The brand sits within a portfolio that also includes sake, shochu, liqueurs, spirits and whisky, and the company operates a craft beer shop named Craft Beer Shop Doppo.

Miyashita Shuzo's official company history records that in 1995 (Heisei 7) it launched 'Doppo', described as the Chugoku region's first craft beer (地ビール). In 2007 the company released 'Beer Spirits Old Doppo'. In 2014 it launched the beer 'Imperial Ale' and opened Craft Beer Shop Doppo at AEON Mall Okayama. In 2019 it introduced a German-made beer mashing apparatus. In 2024 it launched 'Doppo Beer 350ml can'.
