Dorsch Global states that its history began more than 75 years ago. In 2022 it strategically expanded and bundled its US and UK activities, with Vela Tech and RSBG UK as new holding companies for Dorsch's subsidiaries in the USA. In 2023 it made the largest acquisition in the company's history: ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A.E., headquartered in Cairo, which has a total construction volume of over 200 billion US dollars and more than 50 years of experience, operates in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, offers services including architecture, construction, electrical engineering and urban development, and employs over 3,000 experts; EDG2 from the USA complemented the portfolio in design engineering and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. In 2024 there was a leadership change: the Executive Board took over the leadership of Dorsch Global with Ayman Haikal as CEO, Tanja Baur as COO and Jon Grady as CFO, while Olaf Hoffmann, previously CEO, was appointed Chairman of Dorsch Global; the IFM Group, based on the US West Coast and specialized in facility management for industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, healthcare, semiconductors and utility infrastructure, joined the network.
