Down Dyndrome Foundation R.O.C

The Down Dyndrome Foundation R.O.C (Tang Foundation) is a Taiwanese social welfare organization that began as a parents' group and was established as a foundation in 1998. It provides a mutual-support platform for families of children with Down syndrome and offers multi-level, whole-person services according to the child's age, family situation and caregiver status, including case management, resource linkage and family support. Its services have expanded over time to include early intervention, residential care, medical rehabilitation, work training, sheltered employment, health management, community inclusion and emergency assistance, and it also operates public childcare and nonprofit kindergarten services.

The foundation originated from a parents' group that opened channels of exchange and communication to care for the needs of people with Down syndrome and to share the burden of primary caregivers. In 1998, funds were raised to establish the foundation. It has since expanded its service experience year by year to other places in need, and in 2005 began early intervention services in the North Coast rural area. In 2006 it took over New Taipei City's Aiyue Development Center to provide institutional daytime care for people with disabilities. In 2012, responding to government promotion of community-based daytime care, it launched its first community daytime workshop facility and created the handmade soap brand "愛皂事" and the brand "愛不囉嗦", setting up the foundation's first sheltered workshop. In 2013 it operated its first public childcare center and parent-child center in line with public childcare policy. In 2015 it extended services to the Matsu area, bringing professional public childcare services to the offshore islands. In 2018 it operated its first nonprofit kindergarten. In 2023 it undertook the Yongfu Home Xingyan Campus of Taipei City Yangming Home, described as the nation's first all-day disability institution combining AI. In 2024 the public welfare brand 愛不囉嗦 entered the B1 department store space of Breeze Taipei Station, described as the only public welfare shop in Taipei Station.
