In 2005, Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCMB) acquired Duopharma Biotech Berhad. In 2006, Duopharma Biotech Berhad rebranded as CCM Duopharma Biotech Berhad (CCMD). In 2015, there was a restructuring of pharmaceutical companies under CCMD. In 2017, CCMD demerged from CCMB. In 2019, CCMD changed its name to Duopharma Biotech Berhad. In 2020, selected speciality products were commercialised at the HAPI Plant. In 2021, the company participated in the national vaccination programme on the provision of Covid-19 vaccines. In 2022, it received its first Halal-Certified Cancer Treatment. In 2023, PT Duopharma Healthcare Indonesia was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Duopharma Biotech Berhad.
