公司的正式历史始于1978年 Duopharma (M) Sendirian Berhad 的成立以及2000年 Duopharma Biotech 的注册成立。公司于2002年在马来西亚证券交易所上市。2005年，Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCMB) 收购了 Duopharma Biotech Berhad。2006年，Duopharma Biotech Berhad 更名为 CCM Duopharma Biotech Berhad (CCMD)。2015年，CCMD 旗下的制药公司进行了重组。2017年，CCMD 从 CCMB 分拆。2019年，CCMD 更名为 Duopharma Biotech Berhad。2020年，部分专科产品在 HAPI 工厂实现商业化。2021年，公司参与了关于提供 Covid-19 疫苗的国家疫苗接种计划。2022年，公司获得了首个清真认证的癌症治疗产品。2023年，PT Duopharma Healthcare Indonesia 作为 Duopharma Biotech Berhad 的全资子公司成立。
