E-Parisaraa Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2004 in Bangalore. The company states it is India's first electronic waste recycling company approved by both the Central Pollution Control Board and the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, offering e-waste and battery recycling technology for the first time in India. It was founded by Mr. Peethambaram Parthasarathy, who founded E Parisaraa in 2004 driven by a desire to develop and implement low-cost clean technologies and implement the 3R practices in an environmentally friendly way. Under his leadership the company grew and earned recognitions, including a National Award in 2010. Mr. Parthasarathy, the founder director, passed away in 2023. The company currently operates two recycling facilities, located in Dobaspet, Bangalore and Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, along with collection facilities in four major metros — Gurugram NCR, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata — which are to be upgraded to full-fledged recycling facilities over a period of time.
