e-regio GmbH & Co. KG is a regional energy utility headquartered in Euskirchen and Kall, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was formed in 2019 through the merger of Regionalgas Euskirchen GmbH & Co. KG (a gas supplier) and Energie Nordeifel GmbH & Co. KG (ene, focused on electricity). The company supplies electricity, natural gas, drinking water and heat to households, businesses, industry and municipalities across the Kreis Euskirchen, the left-Rhine part of the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis and parts of the Kreis Düren. It serves roughly 75,000 households with gas, over 60,000 with electricity and about 29,000 with drinking water. e-regio is majority municipally owned, with the largest shareholders being rhenag Rheinische Energie AG (40.46%), Stadtverkehr Euskirchen GmbH (36.95%), Kreis Euskirchen (8.72%), Energie Rur-Erft GmbH & Co. KG (8.67%), Stadt Rheinbach (3.12%) and Stadt Bornheim (2.08%). The company operates across the energy value chain: it builds and runs electricity, gas, water and heat networks; generates renewable power through wind farms and solar parks; and offers retail energy products such as Regionalstrom (green electricity generated within a 50 km radius), dynamic electricity tariffs, (bio-)natural gas, heat pumps and wallboxes for electric vehicles. Its "SolarstromPaket" allows households to have a PV system planned, installed and operated by e-regio, with a fixed electricity price guaranteed for 20 years. e-regio also provides e-mobility charging solutions, energy efficiency consulting, energy audits and heat planning services for municipalities. In April 2025 it began construction of its first district heating network in Euskirchen. e-regio is a municipal utility with a strong regional focus and a stated commitment to the regional energy transition. It holds several subsidiaries, including LOGOEnergie GmbH (100%), e-regio Netz GmbH (100%), Stromnetz Euskirchen GmbH & Co. KG (74.9%) and e-regio Energiekonzepte (100%), as well as various wind and solar park companies. The management board consists of Markus Böhm and Stefan Dott. In 2023 the company employed around 468 people and trains about 15 apprentices per year in commercial and technical professions.

e-regio GmbH & Co. KG traces its origins to two separate regional utilities: Regionalgas Euskirchen GmbH & Co. KG, a gas supplier, and Energie Nordeifel GmbH & Co. KG (ene), which focused on electricity. Both operated independently in the Euskirchen region. In 2019, the two companies merged under the unified name e-regio. The merger created a multi-utility provider covering electricity, gas, water and heat for the Kreis Euskirchen, the left-Rhine part of the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis and parts of the Kreis Düren. Since the merger, e-regio has expanded its renewable energy portfolio, realising several wind farms (including the Eifel wind farms Rohr-Reetz, Blankenheimerdorf, Ormont-Stadtkyll and the Bürgerwindpark Schleiden) and photovoltaic ground-mounted systems (such as the solar parks in Mechernich-Kalenberg and Schleiden-Herhahn).
