  ECB fines AIB and EBS for capital calculation errors

  The European Central Bank fined AIB and its subsidiary EBS a total of €615,000 for miscalculating capital needs. The ECB said the errors occurred between 2014 and 2016 and classified the breaches as moderately severe. AIB said it had restored compliance, strengthened controls, and would not appeal.
