Editora UFRJ

Editora UFRJ, the publishing house of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, is part of the central administration of the university's Fórum de Ciência e Cultura. It is defined as the body for elaborating, coordinating and executing the editorial policy for UFRJ's scientific and academic production. Its main objectives include the publication of works of high scientific, technical, cultural, artistic, literary and didactic value, selected through public calls and evaluated by specialist reviewers. It has an Editorial Council and is a member of the Associação Brasileira de Editoras Universitárias (ABEU). Its physical bookstore is located on the Praia Vermelha campus, in the Fórum de Ciência e Cultura building.

Its main objectives include the printed and electronic publication of works of high scientific, technical, cultural, artistic, literary and didactic value, selected through public calls for publications and evaluated by specialist reviewers. It has a high-level Editorial Council and is a member of the Associação Brasileira de Editoras Universitárias (ABEU). Its physical bookstore is located on the Praia Vermelha campus, in the Fórum de Ciência e Cultura building. The construction of its website was made possible with support from FAPERJ.
