Edizioni Il leone verde was founded in 1997 as an independent publishing house. It operates an editorial office and bookshop in Turin, in the narrow streets of the Roman quadrilateral. Its initial editorial goal was to offer unpublished texts, never translated into Italian or little known, from wisdom traditions. Over time this expanded, and today it publishes very different books with the same care and passion. Its catalogue includes more than 430 titles on maternity and early childhood, essays on the Montessori method, cookbooks and literature, and spiritual and philosophical texts.
