Eko Health reimagines the stethoscope for modern medicine, offering digital stethoscopes combined with clinically proven AI and health system integrations for earlier heart and lung disease detection. The company began in 2013, when co-founder and CEO Connor Landgraf, during his senior thesis work at the University of California, Berkeley, observed limitations of the traditional stethoscope and brought in classmates Tyler Crouch and Jason Bellet. Eko reports more than 750,000 devices sold, 9 FDA clearances, and clinical validation in 70+ publications.

Eko began in 2013. During co-founder and CEO Connor Landgraf's senior thesis work at the University of California, Berkeley, he observed the limitations of the traditional stethoscope while interviewing cardiologists on their clinical pain points, and realized the need to transform the analog stethoscope into a smart device that helps clinicians detect cardiovascular disease earlier. Connor brought in classmates Tyler Crouch and Jason Bellet, and they participated in various accelerator programs, where Eko was born. The company debuted the Eko CORE™ Digital Stethoscope (Gen 1), described as the first FDA-cleared stethoscope that functions as both analog and digital. It then released the DUO ECG + Digital Stethoscope (Gen 1), described as the first combined digital stethoscope and single-lead ECG. The second generation Eko CORE™ Digital Attachment & Stethoscope introduced active noise cancellation and was 50% smaller for improved ergonomics. Eko earned its first FDA clearance for AI-supported heart disease detection with Eko Analysis Software.
