Electric Book Works was co-founded by Arthur Attwell in 2006. The team is based in and around Cape Town, South Africa, and works remotely. Since 2006, they have helped teams around the world modernise their workflows and create beautiful, effective publications as websites, ebooks, and print editions. Electric Book Works is the birthplace of acclaimed initiatives like Book Dash, Bettercare, and Paperight. They also maintain the open-source Electric Book workflow, their software for multi-format publishing.
