The Emsland Group is an internationally operating company that produces innovative products for the processing industry based on plant-based raw materials. It offers product solutions in the areas of food, technical specialties, and animal nutrition. The company processes potatoes and peas into high-quality starch products. It also provides a broad product range of potato dried products for the food retail sector under the brand 'Echt vom Feld'. The Emsland Group has over 1,500 employees and supplies customers in over 100 countries.

The Emsland Group has been producing quality products 'Made in Germany' for a worldwide market for over 90 years. The Emsland-Stärke GmbH forms the largest part of the Emsland Group with production sites in Wietzendorf, Golßen, and Kyritz as well as the main plant in Emlichheim. In these plants, both potatoes and peas are processed into high-quality starch products, both native and modified. Applications include food, technical specialties such as adhesives, textiles, and construction additives, as well as animal nutrition. Protein and fiber products for the food sector are also generated from the raw materials. Group-wide, over 2.2 million tons of potatoes and over 160,000 tons of peas are processed.
