    ESL Federal Credit Union completed its acquisition of substantially all assets of Generations Bancorp NY, Inc., the holding company of Generations Bank, on Jan. 1, adding eight new locations and expanding into Cayuga, Orleans, and Seneca counties. ESL now operates 33 full-service branches, holds more than $9.8 billion in assets, and employs more than 1,000 people.
