Euclid Agency (株式会社ユークリッド・エージェンシー) is a Japanese entertainment agency and record company headquartered in Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. It was founded in April 2000 in Meguro-ku by Toshihiko Kimura, who previously worked at Tokuma Japan Communications, as a company for artist management, music production and sales. The company's corporate philosophy is 'Surprise Supplier', and its top message is 'WE LOVE TO TURN YOU ON'. The current representative directors are Chairman Toshihiko Kimura and President Hiroshi Ishimori, the latter having joined in 2011 from Avex Entertainment, where he worked as a director for acts such as AAA, Yajima Beauty Salon and DA PUMP. The agency manages a diverse roster of artists, actors and talents. Its best-known artist is the visual kei / air band Golden Bomber (ゴールデンボンバー), signed in 2008, whose single 'Memeshikute' became a major hit and led to four consecutive appearances on NHK's Kohaku Uta Gassen. Other notable acts include the musical 'Touken Ranbu' (刀剣乱舞), WINWIN, The Sixth Lie, Arakezuri, HAGANE, and talents such as Mitz Mangrove, Maiko Yamamoto, Hisashi Yamada and Sho Kiryuuin. The company also operates labels and produces stage musicals. Euclid Agency is part of the Euclid Group, which includes subsidiaries such as Euclid Creative, Euclid Artist, Euclid Management, Euclid Music Publishing, Euclid Pictures, Scuderia Euclid, Euclid Entertainment and Euclid International. The group reported total sales of 6.401 billion yen for the fiscal year 2015 (Heisei 27) and had 56 employees across the group. Its main bank is Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Ebisu Branch. The group has expanded into apparel (elements,H), electronic books (Dreamline), dining (Prime Dining, with the ramen shop 'Mendokoro Zen'), and advertising (Alchemist). In 2023 it launched the 'iNOTE project' to support indie artists, and in 2025 it established a new label specializing in female net singers, with Shirakotoba as its first artist.

History

Euclid Agency was founded in April 2000 in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, by Toshihiko Kimura, a former employee of Tokuma Japan Communications, as a company for artist management, music production and sales. In November 2000, its first artist, ZZ, debuted. In 2002, the company moved to Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, and began planning, producing and selling artist merchandise. In April 2003, ZZ made their major debut on avex trax. In April 2008, the company signed Golden Bomber. In November 2009, Golden Bomber released the single 'Memeshikute', which became a major hit. In 2011, Hiroshi Ishimori, who had worked at Avex Entertainment as a director for AAA, Yajima Beauty Salon and DA PUMP, joined the company as vice president. In the same year, the limited company Euclid Agency spun off its operations into separate companies and transitioned to a holding company structure. In June 2011, Euclid Pictures was established as a wholly owned subsidiary for video production. In September 2011, Euclid Creative (design and artist merchandise planning/production), Euclid Artist (artist management) and Scuderia Euclid (artist merchandise sales) were established as wholly owned subsidiaries. In October 2011, Euclid Music Entertainment (music software package sales) and Euclid Music Publishing (music production and copyright management) were established as wholly owned subsidiaries. This established a system in which all artist-related operations—music production, management, CD sales, concert business, merchandise sales—were handled by the group companies. On December 31, 2011, Golden Bomber appeared on the 63rd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, achieving their initial goal; they subsequently appeared four consecutive years with 'Memeshikute', tying the record held by Rimi Natsukawa's 'Nada Sou Sou'. In January 2013, Golden Bomber's 13th single 'Dance My Generation' reached No. 1 on the Oricon weekly chart, the first time in Oricon history that an indie artist debuted at No. 1. In April 2013, Alchemist was established as a wholly owned subsidiary for advertising agency business. In June 2013, Euclid Agency launched the 'elements,H' division and entered the apparel business. In 2014, Golden Bomber's 'Memeshikute' won the JASRAC Award Gold Prize, the first time an indie work won the gold prize, blocking AKB48's 'Heavy Rotation' from a third consecutive gold prize. In March 2015, Dreamline was established as a wholly owned subsidiary for planning and operating e-book apps. In February 2016, the second recording studio 'BAR Roppongi Studio' opened in Roppongi. In September 2016, Prime Dining was established as a joint venture for dining business; its first store, 'Mendokoro Zen', opened in March 2018 in Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. In July 2018, for operational efficiency, the operations of Euclid Agency, Euclid Pictures, Euclid Creative, Euclid Artist, Scuderia Euclid, Euclid Music Entertainment, Euclid Music Publishing and Euclid Management were consolidated and Euclid Agency Co., Ltd. was established. On December 31, 2018, the Touken Danshi from the musical 'Touken Ranbu' made their first appearance on the 69th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. In April 2020, operations were again split into separate companies to respond quickly to changing times and form flexible businesses. In July 2020, Dreamline's music production division became independent, and the elements,H division changed its name to Elements, H Co., Ltd. In October 2020, Media Planet was established for actor management. In November 2023, the 'iNOTE project' began to support indie artists from song production to release and promotion. In February 2025, a new label specializing in female net singers was established, with Shirakotoba announced as its first artist. On June 30, 2025, AKIRA TAKANO, former Dream5 member and artist/actor, announced his label transfer to Euclid Agency. In July 2025, the musical 'Touken Ranbu' 10th anniversary performance 'Touken Ranbu: Medetaka Homare Hanamai' was held for two days at Tokyo Dome.
