Extrema Ratio

Extrema Ratio is a knife brand whose official site presents tactical, outdoor, everyday-carry and professional knife lines, along with accessories and apparel. Its own company history page states the brand was born from a belief shared by two friends thirty years ago, that it builds tools for elite military units, special forces and law enforcement, that its bayonets are adopted by leading rifle manufacturers, and that its knives have won military tenders on every continent. The same page notes that in 2021 new hands joined the helm and describes three distinct areas — Tactical, Outdoor and EDC — with over three hundred references.

According to Extrema Ratio's own company history page, the brand was born from a belief: thirty years ago, two friends looked at a world of forgettable blades and decided they could do much better. That first knife changed everything. Since then, the company states it has built tools for those who operate where failure is not an option — elite military units, special forces and law enforcement. It states its bayonets are adopted by the world's leading rifle manufacturers and that its knives have won military tenders on every continent. It describes its Lifetime Warranty as a commitment honored every single time, without exception. In 2021, new hands joined the helm, with the passion remaining the same as the early days and growth described as steady and solid. The page states Extrema Ratio has never been just a military brand, and describes three distinct areas — Tactical, Outdoor and EDC — with over three hundred references, nearly all in stock and ready for shipping.
