Overview

FAAM is an Italian battery brand that has been present in the battery market since 1974, when the FAAM brand was created in the municipality of Monterubbiano (FM) as a producer of energy storage systems. It produces lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, with a focus on research and development, and at Teverola it has started a highly innovative plant for the production of lithium cells, modules and batteries, where it is also building what it describes as the first Gigafactory of Southern Europe for high-performance green lithium cells and batteries. FAAM is wholly controlled by Seri Industrial, a company listed on the EXM of Borsa Italiana that supports the energy and ecological transition. Its stated mission is to make green, low-environmental-impact, high-energy-efficiency batteries while controlling the entire supply chain from raw materials to end-of-life battery recycling, and its vision is to accelerate the energy transition toward sustainability and decarbonization.
