Peugeot releases RCZ Vision concept car showcasing solid-state battery and by-wire technologies
Peugeot released the RCZ Vision concept car, built on the STLA One architecture with targets of 500 hp output and 600 km range. The car showcases next-generation technologies including an all-solid-state battery co-developed with Factorial Energy, a 1,000V electrical system, brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire chassis systems, and the new Feline Future design language. Peugeot said the RCZ Vision mainly serves as a concept car to showcase future design and technology, that the Hypersquare steering wheel is planned for production on the next-generation E-208 next year, and that whether the RCZ Vision itself reaches production will depend on customer demand.

Stellantis Completes Investment in Factorial Energy
Stellantis, through an affiliate and alongside other investors, completed an investment in Factorial Energy as part of Factorial's Series D funding round. The funding will be used to accelerate commercial production and deployment of Factorial's solid-state battery technology.

Mercedes-Benz and Factorial Energy announce battery-development partnership
Mercedes-Benz announced a partnership with Factorial Energy to jointly develop solid-state battery technology. Mercedes-Benz plans to invest a high double-digit-million-dollar amount and aims to begin prototype-cell testing as early as 2022.
