Fanco is described on its own website as an Australia owned and designed success story, creating quality ceiling fans and ventilation products for Australian homes and commercial projects. The brand states that each Fanco product is designed, built and packaged with a brand-wide commitment to innovation and sustainability. Fanco introduced the Gaia, a new addition to its EarthFirst range, after what it describes as thorough consideration and extensive research; the fan is crafted to minimise environmental impact during manufacturing while maintaining standards of quality, aesthetics and functionality. The EarthFirst Gaia reduces the environmental impact of the ceiling fan manufacturing process using new innovative materials, and this development received an Australian Good Design Award Winner accolade, with the awards jury commenting in 2024 on the commitment to circularity through material selection and component choice.
